Hello dears
Sorry for being too late for you, have been a little busy lately. But today we are gonna talk about something to me is very interesting, and I think that people should know about it and make the difference between them.
So today i would like to talk about stress, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, something that really capture my attention, and that may be some people doesn't know what they are "am sure many of people know what depression is" or doesn't make the difference.
As first let's get into the definition of each one of them.
According to American Psychological Association stress is: "Stress is often described as a feeling of being overwhelmed, worried or run-down. Stress can affect people of all ages, genders and circumstances and can lead to both physical and psychological health issues. By definition, stress is any uncomfortable "emotional experience accompanied by predictable biochemical, physiological and behavioral changes." Some stress can be beneficial at times, producing a boost that provides the drive and energy to help people get through situations like exams or work deadlines. However, an extreme amount of stress can have health consequences and adversely affect the immune, cardiovascular, neuroendocrine and central nervous systems. " (1)
According to MedicalNewsToday anxiety is: "an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure. "Knowing the difference between normal feelings of anxiety and an anxiety disorder requiring medical attention can help a person identify and treat the condition."(2)
According to American Psychiatric Association depression is: "Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease a person’s ability to function at work and at home."(3)
According to The National Institute of Mental Health bipolar disorder is: "Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks."(4)
So my dears I hope that now we got to understand what we may be going through, and in the associated links to every definition you will fined the article that I got the definition from, and you will fined more information about each disorder and how to deal with what you have and what you are going through.
I hope this post will be helpful for so many of you, and for those how may suspect that they are dealing with any kind of this disorders dont be afraid to go and have a proper check up, see a doctor and get treatment, and dont fear of asking help and getting out of all the negativity that your life is suffering from, cause remember you deserve to be happy and to have a free happy and relieved life.
And Dumbledore once said: "Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light", so turn your light on and always ask for help when you need it.
until the next time my dears.
with all my love.
